Lorna’s Laces – Zombie BBQ

Well this is an odd name for a yarn colourway!

I must say, when I was shopping for some new-to-me colourways from Lorna’s Laces, this one didn’t appeal to me. I don’t think it was the strange name, but just the colour combination – not bright, not sassy, not plain, not pastel… they just didn’t fit into one of the slots I usually look for.

I selected it in the end because I needed ‘one more’ to finish off my list of new trials.

I’m so glad that I did!

I love this yarn. The colours are rich and deep – they remind me of old world tapestry type colours. But the brilliance is in the cream tones that set these deep colours off in a striping pattern.

The pair shown is size Medium, knit with the 72 cylinder. I get the same striping – but in different widths – on all sizes using whatever cylinder.

This may be one of my new favourites!
